Teaching Philosophy
All instrumentalists have a unique musical voice, shaped by personal experiences, sensibilities, and aspirations. When I begin working with a new student, my first priority is to listen — not only to the sound they produce, but also to the person behind it. I pay close attention to verbal and nonverbal communication, gestures, posture, breathing, and the subtle cues that reveal how they relate to their instrument.

Building a meaningful teacher–student relationship requires empathy and awareness. By carefully observing body language and physical alignment, I help students develop a healthy posture and a deeper connection with their instrument. Through this attentive process, we explore the search for one’s own sound — a sound that reflects individuality, with all its unique colors and qualities.

By working thoughtfully on repertoire, students discover their natural inclinations, develop a deeper understanding of each piece, and refine both their technical and expressive abilities.

After one year at the “Music School of Fiesole” with Prof. Alessia Sordini, she continued her studies at the “Conservatorio R. Franci” in Siena under Maestro Luciano Tristaino. In July 2022, she graduated with highest honors, earning her Second-Level Academic Diploma in Flute.

In 2023, she was selected for a six-month Erasmus Traineeship at the “Staatstheater Mainz” in Germany as a flutist in opera and symphonic programs.

She has attended masterclasses and advanced courses in flute and piccolo with internationally renowned musicians, including Lucia Rizzello, Riccardo Ghiani, Antonio Barsanti, Elena Giri, Rien de Reede, Mario Carbotta, Filippo Rogai, Claudia Bucchini, Fabio Colajanni, Therese Geisler, Stefanie Schwarzkopf, and Heike Bodesohn-Walter. Throughout her orchestral career, she has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Máté Hámori, Carlomoreno Volpini, Igor Coretti Kuret, Nenad Petkovic, and Hermann Bäumer.
In 2023 and 2025, she was invited to perform with the ESYO Youth Orchestra for the winter tour, with concerts in Belgrade and Trieste.

Over the past eight years, she has been deeply involved in music education. She currently holds the position of flute professor at “IC Boccaccio,” a middle school with a music specialization in Certaldo. At the same time, she teaches at the Music School of Greve in Chianti, at “Colle Suona” in Colle Val d’Elsa, and at the “La Formica” Staineriana Waldorf School in Le Grazie (Colle Val d’Elsa). She also leads music projects in primary schools, at a specialized school for adolescents, and at a center for people with disabilities.
She is currently completing a Master’s program in “MusicArTherapy in the Globality of Languages”, founded by Stefania Guerra Lisi, and since 2024 has been attending an advanced flute training course with Professor Stefano Agostini at the “Academy of Music of Pontedera”.
