Ticket Purchase, Altalena Friends Circle, and Summer Academy Participation

 

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the process of purchasing tickets for the artistic programs organized by:

These GTC apply to visitors attending our events and to those supporting the programme through the Altalena Friends Circle. The Service Provider’s terms for participation in the Summer Academy also apply to students joining our programs. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The most current version and Privacy Notice are available on the Service Provider’s Website.

Participation in Events

1.1 Ticket Purchases: All performances and events can be attended with a valid ticket unless specified as free events or those requiring only registration. Ticket prices will be listed on the purchase platform.

1.2 Event Modifications: We reserve the right to change the date, location, performers, or cancel events. If an event is canceled, the Service Provider will refund ticket purchases within 90 days of the request.

1.3 Refunds: Only canceled events will be eligible for refunds. Refunds must be requested within 30 days of the canceled event.

1.4 Late Arrivals: Late arrivals can only enter the performance during intermission or as instructed by the hosts.

1.5 Prohibited Items: Animals, weapons, dangerous items, and large objects are not allowed in the event venues.

1.6 Special Access: Wheelchair users can purchase tickets for designated spaces.

1.7 Disruptive Behavior: Guests causing disruptions may be asked to leave. Use of mobile phones or recording devices is not permitted.

1.8 Audio/Visual Recording: The Service Provider may record the event. By attending, guests consent to being recorded and the use of their image without additional consent, unless specified otherwise.

1.9 Guest Recording: Personal audio or video recording during events is prohibited.

1.10 Consumer Rights: The consumer cannot cancel or withdraw from the ticket purchase due to the exception for leisure services under section 29(1)(l) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.).

Joining the Altalena Friends Circle

2.1 Support Program: Joining the Altalena Friends Circle involves making a financial contribution to support the Service Provider’s programs and events. These donations help young artists and fund various initiatives that align with the Collective’s mission.

2.2 Contribution Benefits: Members of the Circle support the organization by contributing to the execution of events and providing resources to young artists.

III. Altalena Summer Academy

3.1 General Information: The Altalena Summer Academy is designed for aspiring musicians to receive high-level training and exposure through masterclasses, one-on-one coaching, and performance opportunities. The Academy offers two separate tracks:

  • For students aged 18 and older: Participants will receive personalized coaching, chamber music sessions, and performance opportunities with renowned teachers and musicians.

  • For students aged 14–18: Young musicians are invited to attend with a guardian. Those under 14 must attend with a parent or guardian.

3.2 Program Requirements: By registering for the Summer Academy, participants agree to adhere to all Academy rules and guidelines, which will be communicated prior to arrival. Students are expected to respect all deadlines and guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful experience.

3.3 Location and Dates: The Summer Academy takes place annually in two locations: one masterclass project is organized in Tuscany, Italy, and a second masterclass project is held in early September in Telki, Hungary. The exact dates and program details are provided upon registration.

3.4 Age Requirements:

  • For participants aged 18+: The Academy offers an intensive training environment with a focus on artistic and professional development.

  • For participants under 18: Parental or guardian consent is required, and students under the age of 14 must attend with a parent or guardian.

General Terms and Conditions

4.1 Modifications to GTC: The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any modifications will be reflected on the website.

4.2 Privacy Notice: All personal data collected will be handled according to the Service Provider’s Privacy Notice. For more details, please refer to the Privacy Notice available on the Website.

4.3 Liability: The Service Provider is not liable for any personal loss, injury, or damage sustained during events or programs unless resulting from the Service Provider’s negligence.

 

By engaging with any of the Service Provider’s programs or events, participants acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms.
