Biography
A graduate of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Bordeaux with honours, Julien Gaudinière then continued his studies in Canada at the University of Montreal, where he obtained a master's degree and a doctorate in performance with the distinction ‘exceptional’. He also received guidance from renowned pianists such as Dang Thaï Son, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Peter Najy, Marc Durand, Cyprien Katsaris, and others. He performs regularly in concert, both in recitals and chamber music, and as a soloist with orchestras. He has been invited to perform at numerous festivals in France, England, Italy, Germany and Canada. He collaborates with musicians from the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Osmose ensemble, and artists such as Romain Lapeyre, Marie-Cécile Cahen, Hugo Schmitt and Julien Miro. For more than 10 years, he has been exploring the repertoire for four-hand piano and two pianos with pianist Florent Féral, with whom he forms the Ardere duo and recorded an album based on fairy tales and dances in 2017.

Passionate about teaching, he holds a Certificate of Aptitude for piano teaching and has studied in depth the means of optimising his instrumental work. This work, based on studies in psychology, neuroscience, pedagogy and productivity, enables him to develop efficiency, progress, enjoyment and ease when playing in public. He is an arts teacher at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Reims.
